I'm from the Chicago area, have been listening to bassdrive for a LONG time, and been completely inactive on the forums. =P

I go by De-Prog, I'm an aspiring producer (been producing D&B for over 8 years) and a temporarily retired DJ.
Before I got married and had kids (wow, Its amazing what a time hole family can be. LOL) I used to DJ random clubs all over the area.
I also played a few shows with BeatDown crew (a local D&B crew).

I'm trying to be a little more active in the forms lately =P

Music well yeah I used to listen metal and hard rock when I was 15-17 years old (quited after I met a girl that used to listen house music) after I started to be addicted to house music( not much till I broke up with that chick) at 19 I've been to italy where I've heard LOADS of Techno music...got in love with it instantly,also started to listen trance and minimal in the same time,1 year ago I've been to UK where I've saw a guy from Australia called Dub Fx making a live show in the streets...kinda strange beat boxing music,after that I've been searching the type of music on internet but as I saw he was the only one who was singing that genre of music,searching for that kinda music I've found about Dubstep. OFC BANG ADDICTION AGAIN ! been listening to dubstep like no other for mounths until somebody told me about drum and bass...heard of it before,didn't like it much but never tought on what lvl drum and bass music is those days. I've told myself...hey this is kinda dubstep but not slowmotion like dubstep music is. =P searched for few songs in youtube and found about those teenagers,dnb step dancers from russia,latvia,ukrain and other soviet countryes. I was FASCINATED...until that day never tought u could actualy dance on dnb,I rly wanted to know about this music and searched in winamp at radio section dnb for some radio stations wich plays this type of music and VOILA ! first place over there was BASS DRIVE ...wasn't necesary to search for others cuz I definetly found what I was looking for! Today I found myself dancing on dnb music(in the house atm ofc xD amateur still or dnb stepper wannabe) and I hope this kinda freedom I feel never leave me. Hey peoples... name's Nathan, nearly 15 years old. Like all kinds of electronic music, but i'm a heavy DnB addict... liquid funk, especially. My library of it is pretty big, and is still rapidly expanding.

Tried making a few beats, but so far I either haven't got round to finishing them or they've just turned out horrible. I'm hoping to be able to make something good in the not too distant future. I run a small internet radio station for now, until I can actually start making some (much better) tunes.

Came across BassDrive about 2 or 3 years ago on the iTunes stream list, really liked (and still like) the stuff playing so I tune in and join the chatroom sometimes (under my other name "Nd01").

Now that i've joined this place, I should be around more often =P Bassdrive = epic win.

i have been listeneing to dnb about 12 - 14 years now and its been a love affair ever since...still adjusting to the dubstep.
ive spun since 2003....vinyl only now....makes for good therapy....especially some tech itch and hive in the morning...i play alot of liquid also, which i have aquired quite the collection of.

Horribly addicted to dnb and vdubs, and preferably both at the same time. Been a DNB head for nearly 10 years, and just discovered bass-drive a couple of weeks ago after vaguely hearing the name years ago. Properly addicted to it now... flog all the crap on the radio, bassdrive should be a full time radio station as well as tinterweb based, that would be ace.

Anyway, keep up the sick tunes and long live bassdrive!

Im Lino P. Casu and listen dnb since 96, got my first happy hardcore tape but way before. I used to play classic guitar but i aint anymore.
I collect and make noise samples that in best case let electronical stuff do some things they normaly not do.

Well, My name is Kenneth, I'm a 15 year old D&B producer from London, England. Been Into drum and bass/jungle since I was a toddler, been although my family so I guess it was inevitable.

Been Producing in total for about 2 years now? Only got realistic about it when I heard of Memro on Liquicity's youtube channel and thought "If he can do it, why can't I".

Mainly I produce dance-floor/liquid tunes, but I like to experiment I guess, my favourite productions are my more Mellow ones. Which I shall be littering around this forum gradually. I also make some dubstep, again, I started out doing the more "commercial" stuff, but I'm experimenting with deeper and more musical vibes, and preferring my latest productions to the older & harder stuff.

But that's the basics about me I guess. I hope to have fun here, and hope to meet and learn from Many producers too.
