'TELLURIC ACTIVITY'

(Monthly Label Showcase of the Finest Drum+Bass)

TELLURIC RECORDINGS along with KNITTING FACTORY Brooklyn is proud to announce the return of 'TELLURIC ACTIVITY': a monthly label showcase presenting ground-breaking international talent. The first installment brings the US debut of UK's………

MR. JOSEPH (Telluric Recordings, Fizzy Beats, Liquid V)

Fresh off of the heels of his debut L.P "WHAT A LOVELY TIME IT WAS" [Telluric], Trevor Joseph aka MR. JOSEPH is set to make his US debut. Following a string of quality releases on V Recordings, Liquid V and Telluric Recordings, MR. JOSEPH has been on the tip of the tongue of the international production scene bringing forth some of the most sought-after liquid in Drum+Bass music with his signature soulful style. Look for major releases from him in the coming months including releases on his own Fizzy Beats imprint as well as on V Recordings and the follow-up E.P. project for Telluric Recordings entitled "UNTOUCHABLE FUNK."

MR. JOSEPH has seen support from the biggest players in the game including LTJ BUKEM, FABIO, BAILEY, GOLDIE and many more. Don't miss this truly gifted artist as he graces the decks in NYC for an exclusive engagement not to be missed.

Support on the night…….

EDWARD OBERON (Creative Source, Telluric Recordings, GoodLooking)

EDWARD OBERON stepped on the scene in 2009 with a renewed spirit, determination, and the pulsating beats to back it up. None of this has gone unnoticed: this Welsh-born, New York resident has gotten a steady stream of labels locked into his diverse tunes. With releases on DOC SCOTT's 31 Records ("Noir"), FABIO's Creative Source ("Paradise", a true Radio1/1Xtra favorite), and VAMPIRE RECORDS already under his belt in his short time going solo, EDWARD has received radio airplay on Radio 1, 1Xtra and Bassdrive, features in magazines such as Knowledge, ATM, High Times and BPM and accolades from various websites and online organizations. EDWARD was the artist behind the TELLURIC classic "Change Everything" [Telluric 010] which was also featured on PLACE 42's "Telluric Activity Vol 1" mix CD.

Some of the biggest compliments, though, come from our peers, and with DJs and producers like FLIGHT, BAILEY, LOXY, RESOUND, GREMLINZ, HEIST, SEBA, LTJ BUKEN and BIG BUD who all having rinsed and praised his solo work. EDWARD OBERON is definitely a mover and poised to shake things up.

Residents:

PLACE 42 featuring JETT (Telluric Recordings)

Native son of the NEW YORK CITY underground electronic music scene since the early 1990’s, PLACE 42 (aka JOHN CLEMENTE) has been making a positive impact on the global Drum+Bass scene for many years. Founder of the revered TELLURIC RECORDINGS label, a tireless promoter of countless successful events, and a gifted DJ supporting exclusive music from his label’s roster, this multi-faceted artist’s signature deep and rolling sound has continuously been turning heads and moving feet on dance floors worldwide. With international support of the TELLURIC imprint by the likes of LTJ BUKEM, FABIO, and BAILEY, DJ PLACE 42 continues to stay loyal to his signature, well-curated sound while moving forward within the ever-evolving world of Drum+Bass.

Having been working with TELLURIC aritst STUNNA on production with the coveted 'RUN' [Telluric 011], look forward to a full-length album project from the duo on TELLURIC in late 2012.

JETT has been trailblazing both the studio and dance floors with her signature vocals. One of the most sought-after voices in the scene (as witnessed on her countless collaborations and label signings), her live performances have left crowds screaming for more. Her presence is sure to be a perfect balance to this evening….. If you don't know her it's time you met her.

Hosted by:

T.R.A.C (B.B.E., Konkrete Jungle, Telluric Recordings)

Hosting the evening on microphone duties is NYC-based talent T.R.A.C. - a fixture on both the local Drum+Bass and Hip Hop scenes alike, T.R.A.C.'s recent signing to the renown BarelyBreakingEven (BBE) imprint and production work with 4HERO's MARC MAC have excelled this MC into greater heights.
