Well accomplished DJ and Producer from Torun, Poland, Piotr Zawalkiewicz's musical journey began very early in his life. Starting from playing classical guitar while attending music school at the age of 7, he has gone on to co-produce more then 70 hip hop albums working with the likes of Planet Asia, Blaq Poet, Nut Rageous and other well known artists from the underground hip hop scene.
The 29 year old is also a well seasoned DJ. DJ'ing since 2003, he has competed in national turntablist competitions in Poland and slayed the field by winning the championship in 2005. This propelled him into becoming a bit of a celebrity in his native country resulting in TV appearances, concert and music festival bookings. Now days he can be seen sharing the stage with headlining Drum&Bass Djs from all over the world.
DJ Ike started producing Drum&Bass because to him it is a great pleasure to be able to play his own tunes to people and express himself through it. Drum&Bass reminds him of nothing but good feelings and positive vibes and he wants to share that with as many people as he can. He has many collaboration projects in the works with many other talented Drum&Bass artists and you should be seeing more of his tunes coming out in the near future.
